By downloading or using Period Tracker by Gita you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Licence
You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use Period Tracker by Gita on Apple devices you own or control, as set out in Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which applies to this app except where these terms are more specific.
2. Not medical advice, and not contraception
This is the most important term in this document.
Period Tracker by Gita is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Its predictions are statistical estimates based on the days you log and on general population averages.
Do not use Period Tracker by Gita as a method of contraception or as a fertility treatment. The fertile window it shows is an estimate and can be wrong, including for people with regular cycles. Ovulation timing varies.
Always consult a qualified clinician about your health. Never delay seeking medical advice because of something this app displayed.
3. Your data
Your log is stored on your device. We have no copy and cannot restore it for you. If you delete the app, lose the device, or erase your data, it is gone. Use Settings → Export my data to keep your own backup.

4. Subscriptions
Period Tracker by Gita is free to use. Some features are offered through an optional auto-renewing subscription ("Pro").
- Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or interfere with the app or its security, except where the law expressly permits it.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that predictions will be accurate or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including any decision made in reliance on a prediction. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
